Demi-chan wa Kataritai – this feels like a nice feel good series.

Joshiraku is a series I had been intending to watch for ages but didn’t as the subs are variable to awful. As a result I was watching it mostly just in Japanese with no subtitles, which was a much better experience. I have wanted to buy the manga at some point for a long time as well, and perhaps this will give me the motivation to do so. I wonder how different the manga is to the anime version…

Yokuwakaranai Gendaimahou – wakaranai rather than wakaru on account of the fact that, despite the stupid but amusing segments at the end, it never really makes sense. And there seem to be rather few abilities used for something that should have near-limitless potential. I’m going to assume that it’s a case of “anime adaptation didn’t pull it off well” either because it couldn’t or because it just didn’t, rather than assuming that the source was bad, but assumption it will stay as this has given me no desire to read the novels at all.
