Winter 2017 Status:

Series rankings:
1. Kochinpa! Dainiki

Hundred – I’m really not sure what to make of this. In some ways it was awful, but in others it was brilliant. And not in the sense of different sections of the series, but different aspects of the same bits. Emilia is obviously the true hero of the series, though. Far better than that stupid MC in every possible way. When all is said and done, I’m glad I finished it. I doubt I would get the novels in the best of times, though. With a backlog of things I’ve said I’m going to buy, only one order from Japan (and that not a full one) in the last 7 months and little chance of increasing the rate again any time soon? Not a chance.

Gi(a)rlish Number, on the other hand, was a series where it was all to easy to tell which were the good bits and which the bad. I have no real interest in having any more of this. I’m not even sure that I would watch it if more came along. I guess I watched the whole series through though, so in that sense I suppose they could say they won. In that annoying and irresponsible manner.

Next week is the first week of winter. Although I’m not sure how much winter anime I’ll actually start in that time. Lots of blog posts coming up over the next few days though.
