Not watched much this week, and won’t watch much next week either. In fact the entire season could be a bit like that. Which is why I’m actually kind of glad that it looks like it will be a relatively weak season. I wonder how many series I will actually finish… Heck, I wonder how many series I will actually start…

Kiznaiver – well that was a rather up and down franchise. When it was great, it was definitely great, but overall it just wasn’t on the same standard as the top shows of this strong season. In the past I would have said I’d buy the series without hesitation, but as things are now I’m not so sure.
Seisen Cerberus – anime adaptations of story based games, obviously, depend almost entirely on how good the story is. Cerberus was a fairly classic style of RPG plotline, but did a fairly decent job of it. That said, I’m not entirely sure how cetain features of the game would have worked (not that this matters for an anime adaptation, or indeed what Tomitte offered the story at all. I’m not really interested in playing the game, so the anime will have to serve as my stand-alone reference to the franchise.
Bungou Stray Dogs – This series started off as fairly low interest to me, but over time it grew on me and surprisingly I find that I’m now very much looking forward to watching the second series. Bring it on.
Fukigen na Mononokean looks like a meh series, but one that could be fairly good to unwind to. Which is exactly what I want from my anime right now.
Onara Gorou is as stupid as expected, but funny as a result.
