An asterisk above indicates that the series either has not yet finished or that I have not yet finished it.

Luluco – what a shallow and pathetic ending to a series that had gone too far in its absurdity and found that going beyond being funny lands you in the territory of tedium and awkwardness. A shame, as this provided the final nail in the coffin of a series that had initially showed a fair degree of promise.

Usakame – a sweet little series in its own way, but nothing really much to it.

Pan de Peace! – as sweet and fluffy as the inside of a baguette. It didn’t have much of a crust to it, so didn’t hold together very well, but was certainly nice for what it was.

Haifuri – a bit of an oddball series, it nonetheless managed to do everything well, and the whole worked together suprisingly well. I almost felt as though I was a crew member of the Harekaze and my feelings were certainly in line with the characters at the end of the series.

Anne Happy♪ – that last episode didn’t seem to fit in fully with the series. Oh well. It was a good and fun series but nothing special.

Flying Witch – a lovely feel-good series. Will try the manga at some point.

Sansha Sanyou – Couldn’t ask for more from this. Brilliant characters and brilliant interactions between them. The KY + tsundere combo in particular works so well. There needs to be more of that. I will definitely be getting the manga of this one… When that will be I don’t know.

Netoge – Great series, and one of the best romcoms I’ve ever come across. Will get the light novels. Some day.

I think Tanaka-kun deserves some sort of award. I tried reading the manga on Gangan Online back when it first started but couldn’t get into it at all and it seemed to have nothing to offer whatsoever. Yet the anime is great. Great atmosphere, great characters, great timing, great feel… great overall. Yes, I think this could well be the best done anime adaptation I’ve ever come across.
