Galko-chan became the first drop of the year. Why? Because it just wasn’t funny. Plus most of the discussions were rather uncomfortable.
Working!! – good characters, good humour – at least for the most part. There was one episode that I found extremely uncomfortable, though. I’ll watch season 2 soon, which, unlike this first season, is legally available in the UK (from Crunchyroll). It’s a bit of an odd situation, having the first season unavailable but the second and third available, but the fansub rule still applies – I’ll be happy to buy the manga of this series.
Mondaiji-tachi OVA was, I guess, pretty decent for the type of thing it was, and it actually felt like part of the story.
The Sekai Seifuku OVA, though, was better in my opinion in that it fitted in perfectly with the nature of the series, although some of the effects of being set after the series ended were odd.
Saki Biyori – I’m not usually much of a fan of the Ikeda ones, but that rabbit… Surprisingly, several of the scenes seemed to work better animated than they had in the manga.
Incidentally, it seems the episodes of Kochin Pa! on the series website have stopped. It’s been 16 days since the last one was added now.
