Well last week was all negative, but this one is pretty much all positive. After a mediocre start to the episode, Akatsuki no Yona’s 21st built up to the best episode ending of any of the year to date. This, though, wasn’t enough to stop it being bettered by episode 6 of SaeKano. Even that, though, was pipped out by episode 9 of Kantai Collection. I loved that episode so much more than any of the episodes so far poi. I get the feeling that whoever was writing that episode had great fun doing it, and that fun passed on to me as well.
Binan Koukou seems to have very much fended off the danger of slipping into repititiveness that seemed to threaten it early on.
That concert in Rolling Girls ep 8 was brilliant too, which more than made up for the slight lacklustre of episode 7.
Even Sengoku Musou is getting more interesting.
Let’s hope the good stuff continues for the rest of the season. In the meanwhile, I have more anime to watch.
