Weekly Anime Roundup – Winter 2015 Week 3

So yes, I was ill for a while, and there was a period of 9 days during which I didn’t watch any anime as a result (Log Horizon 16 was watched on the day it aired and episode 17 was watched several days late, yet these were consecutive episodes watched). Consequentially the “week” has been pushed back by 9 days, and I am rather behind with my watches.

Given the extent to which these episodes were spread out over time there really isn’t much to say.

I’m actually surprised that I haven’t dropped anything during this week – there were several seres that last time I would have expected to have been dropped with their next episode but which managed to improve just enough for me to keep them going.

Viewster picking up several series that were previously unavailable to the UK means that I am using them as a streaming service for the first time, with three different series. They do seem to be rather slow, with all three series being only up to episode 3 on the site, despite two of them being on episode 5 in Japan (with the third getting its fifth episode later today). Plus the ad placement, which is often literally mid-sentence, and the lack of subscription method, means that I am currently watching these series for free with adblock on. Sorry, guys. Still, it’s nice that the number of fansub series is 5 rather than 8 – although 5 is still way too much.

Anyway, enough time writing up this. Time for more anime. Or, more accurately, time for a bath, and then more anime.
