I decided that rather than doing a blog post every time I bought something, it would be better to do a regular post every month listing the things I bought during that month. Note that this is “bought” rather than “arrived”. Some of these items haven’t been released yet, let alone come through the post box. A big month such as this one is a good one to start with – most months won’t have anywhere near this much.
Note also that on this occasion only this blog post overlaps with an earlier blog post.

The December releases from Yen Press. The first two have since been read. I’m rather behind on Spice and Wolf. All three, incidentally, bought from Wordery, to take advantage of their 10% off offer for buying 2+ things at once during January. Given that they’re often the cheapest place to buy stuff even before that, they ended up getting rather a lot of custom from me during this month. It’s just a shame they insist on sending every single item separately.

Again largely filling in gaps in my collection here, including finishing off some series (Omamori Himari, PSYREN, Koko ni Iru yo!/I am Here!), but also starting a new series (Goudere Sora Nagihara – which is even more… raunchy… than I expected it to be). Haganai Club Minutes falls into the trap that many side stories not written by the original author do – in that it directly contradicts things that are revealed later on in the actual story, but there we go… Kashimashi I’m actually still missing a couple of volumes from the middle of. Volumes bought from various places, although disproportionately from Wordery for the reason mentioned above.

Yuuki Yuuna has arrived already, one of the perks of ordering from Amazon. OreTwi Tail 2 has been dispatched, and Tail 3 is not yet released. I’m still not entirely sure I’ll buy Tail 4. Incidentally, Tail 1 is apparently finally arriving tomorrow, a day under 6 weeks since its dispatch.

This is the order listed under the 9th Jan post, from honto. Final volumes of KamiNomi and Zettai Reiiki. It seems getting a reprint announced halfway through the month wasn’t enough to enable me to get Washio Sumi wa Yuusha de Aru, and the volume isn’t even available to order at present from honto. Inou-Battle volume 5 was a random cancellation that happens occasionally. It’ll go into my next order, and because of this the order ended up being balanced after all. The order shipped on 28th January.
